After much deliberation and discussion, I have decided that in order to be fair to those players who are working to make the playoffs, that the following Member Member points have been assigned as outlined below:
1. The top 5 gross finishers will receive points payouts in order of their finish (From Overall Leaderboard)
2. Those teams that earned gross points are not eligible to win net points as well, thus 5 teams starting with the NET non – gross points winners will earn points. (From Overall Leaderboard)
Please see the updated rankings on current points. This was an awkward decision but I felt that in order to be fair to those players working for the playoff and that this is PERFORMANCE based award, that this will make everybody happy. The format for the event provided an awkward outcome where the gross finishers also won net. I understand that either way the points are distributed, one or two teams may miss out on points.
There is still plenty of time especially with the club championship to earn POY points, so please do not get discouraged or upset if you disagree with this decision. EVERYBODY is eligible for this playoff!!
